Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: September 24, 2026
At One Stop Tires & Auto, we treat every customer like family — and that includes everyone who visits our website. We want anyone, regardless of ability, to be able to find our hours, learn about our services, and request an appointment without running into a barrier.
Our Goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the widely-used standard for digital accessibility, and we've done a focused review of this site against it. That said, we are not claiming this website is fully compliant or certified accessible — accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time checkbox, and new issues can turn up as browsers, assistive technology, and the site itself change over time. If something falls short, we want to know about it (see below).
What We've Done
As part of a recent accessibility review, we made specific, tested changes across the site:
- Added a "Skip to main content" link so keyboard users don't have to tab through the full menu on every page to reach the content.
- Made sure every link, button, and form field can be reached and operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline — including a mobile menu that can be closed with the Escape key.
- Reviewed and corrected color contrast throughout the site against the WCAG AA thresholds (4.5:1 for regular text, 3:1 for large text and interface elements like focus outlines).
- Cleaned up heading structure and page landmarks so screen reader users can navigate by heading and jump straight to the main content on any page.
- Added meaningful alt text for images that convey information, and hid purely decorative icons from assistive technology so they don't add noise.
- On our appointment request form: every field has a visible label, required fields are clearly marked, and errors are described in text and announced automatically rather than relying on color or a popup alone.
- Removed a third-party accessibility "overlay" widget we'd previously installed — we found it was altering the page in ways we couldn't fully control, and fixed the underlying site instead.
- Tested all of the above with automated accessibility scanning tools and by navigating the entire site using only a keyboard.
Known Limitations
Some parts of our site rely on services provided by others, such as the embedded Google Map on our Contact page. We don't control how those third-party tools are built, and they may not be fully accessible. That's why we always list our full address as plain text next to the map, so the information is available even if the map itself isn't easy for you to use. If you come across anything else on the site that doesn't work well for you, we'd like to hear about it — see below.
We Want to Hear From You
If you have trouble using any part of this website, or you notice something that could be more accessible, please tell us. We take every message seriously and will do our best to fix the issue, and in the meantime to give you the information, service, or help you need through another method — a phone call instead of a form, for example.
